The MultiWave® System II
User Control

Features

  • Full alphanumeric keypad for entering data and controlling system operation
  • Eight line by 20 character LCD display
  • Audible alarm for error conditions
  • User entry of file name identifications, including time and data and X,Y,Z coordinate for mapping uses
  • Display of up to six computed magnetic flux desity attributes
  • Real-time count of stored waveform samples, including steady state and transient capture events

Available Measurement Modes

Spot Measurements - Captures a waveform sample each time the specified function key is pressed.

Long-term Measurements - Records a user-specified number of waveform samples at predetermined intervals. Total sample set limited by available disk space.

Timed Measurements - Records waveform samples at predetermined intervals between user-specified start and end times (hour-min-sec, day-month-year).

Profiler Mode - Recording is triggered by external signal from the optional profiler mapping wheel.

Continuous Sample Mode - Lets user view and/or record waveform samples as rapidly as possible. Normally used for survey measurements with recording features turned off.

On-Screen Calculations
Up to five different calculations can be selected for display, including:

  • AC rms for each axis or resultant
  • DC for each axis or resultant
  • Magnitude and/or phase of selected harmonics
  • Dominant frequency of waveform
  • Total harmonic distortion (THD) of each axis
